MIKE'S BUS PAGES

I am a member of the Cardiff and South Wales Trolleybus Project which is doing extensive restoration of two Cardiff trolleybuses : single-decker 3-axle 243 ('doodlebug') with East Lancs body and double-decker 262 with Bruce body. 243 was the last 3-axle single-deck trolleybus built in the U.K. and the last to be withdrawn, in 1964. 262 was the last Cardiff trolleybus running in Cardiff when the system closed in January 1970.
